What is "TAMALEWOOD"?

The influx of Hollywood's film and streaming industry into the great state of New Mexico

in recent years is quickly turning NM into its own unique hub for Film and TV,

necessitating a moniker all it's own, hence: "Tamalewood"

(Because, let's face it, "Red & Green Chilewood" just doesn't have the same ring to it, now does it?)

What is a "FILMMAKER'S COLLECTIVE"?

We are a diverse group of creatives from all walks of life whose love of New Mexico either brought us here from afar, or keeps us here from our youth. Our love and enthusiasm for film, creative performance and the collaborative process have brought us together with a shared mission:

to foster a fun, supportive and playful environment to share our skills, teach, learn and stretch ourselves beyond what we think we can or can't do, working together as a collective to make short films.
